Phoenicians

The word Phoenician was mentioned several times in the letter to Tom's father from his friend. Who or what are Phoenicians? Do a little internet research and tell us what you discover! Be sure to type everything in your own words so we can all understand it (hint: add "for kids" to your search).

  3. A very long time ago, there was a group of Semitic people who lived on the Mediterranean coast. They became very important because the kingdoms had been controlling them before (mainly Egyptians & all those kind of people) they got a lot weaker & so the Phoenicians got stronger.
